With an elevation of 2,717+ MASL, Mt Timbak is considered as the 3rd highest mountain in Luzon and the 9th in the Philippines. The funny thing is, you’ll find the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd highest peaks in Luzon near each other. You can see Mt Tabayoc (2nd highest peak) and Mt Pulag (1st highest peak) from Mt Timbak.

Haight’s Place: Sakura Park

There’s no need to book a flight to Japan to get a glimpse of the Sakura flower. Around 40 Japanese Sakura trees were planted in Paoay, Atok, Benguet last 2016. You can visit the Sindaya and Yakiwari Sakura varieties at the Benguet-Kochi Sisterhood Park.

Plus, they also have a field of cosmos flowers! It’s the prettiest flower field I’ve seen so far!
