Camping at the beach is truly an amazing experience. Gazing at the sunset and sunrise by the beach is one of the most relaxing things in life and if you’re up for it, you could make the beach your backyard just by pitching your tent.

It doesn’t cost a fortune and it’s cheaper than other types of accommodations. So here are five Batangas beaches where you can set up camp or camp near it, to have that ultimate beach camping experience.

Do note that the P400 only covers the camping fees and rates. Transportation and food is not included.

Verde Island

One of the best beaches Batangas has to offer is Mahabang Buhangin which is one kilometer long of white sand. For camping, you can check out The Beach Camp Isla Verde’s campsite which is a 15-minute walk from the beach. If you’re going to book a room with them, tent pitching is free but if not, you have to contact them if they have an available tent space for camping. Bring your tent, they’ll provide the beddings. Double sized tents are the only sizes allowed in the campsite. Bigger tents can’t fit the space.

  • Electricity: Placed around the campsite are solar lamps to light your way at night time. Electricity is only from 6 to 9pm
  • Bathroom: Available and Free
  • Cooking Area: You can pay 150 pesos per night for kitchen fee with cookware and bbq but you have to bring your own dinnerware and charcoal.
  • Location: Verde Island, Batangas
  • Camping Rate: P500 for 2 persons

Recently, we’ve been on a trip to Verde Island and stayed at Sawang Dive Camp. It’s an awesome place to camp and the staffs are really accommodating. It’s the most beautiful beach camping spot for me.

  • Electricity: Available only from 6pm to 10pm
  • Bathroom: Available
  • Cooking Area: There are free kitchen utensils you can use.
