Guest Review: “My favorite hostel during my stay in the Philipines. The location is perfect, peaceful and very close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Next to that the small restaurant/bar was a very good place to connect with people. ”

Also, food is delicious, people come from all around the island to eat there! Cool place to stay, only 3 min walk to the beach, beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend!”

Guest Review: “We stayed during 2 nights, one night in the Classic room and one night on the family deluxe room and we enjoyed the perfect location, comfort of the room and helpfulness and kindness of the Fun ta sea crew. We wanted to stay more but it was fully booked. They made our NYE party amazing with a live band and a firework, complimentary wine and so on. A good place to stay definitely. ”

Glamping Siquijor by the Beach

Guest Review: “The tents are lovely and spacious, they didn’t get too hot during the day and we had a fan too. The view is beautiful and looks right onto the beach. The WiFi is good in the WiFi area, but might not work in your tent. Luckily we had a tent close to the WiFi area so it was working. The bathrooms were cute and have no ceiling so you can shower under the palms. We had a comfy bed place on palettes which was chic and the mattress was very comfortable. The staff is lovely, and there is a box of doughnuts out all day with fresh brewed hot coffee too! You can cook there which is so super cute. They have a selection of sauces you can use and all the cooking equipment. We wanted to litter pick on the beach and the staff offered us a beer when we were finished which we weren’t expecting but it was a lovely gesture! ”

Location: Solangon, San Juan, 6227 Siquijor

What To Love: beachfront location, free breakfast, and large tents

Coco Grove Beach Resort

Guest Review: “What a surprise! Perhaps the loveliest hotel I’ve stayed in during my 9 years in the Philippines. Beautiful grounds to stroll through (I did), multiple restaurants with delicious food options, and the most amazing – the onsite marine reserve. Perhaps the best snorkeling I’ve ever done – clear waters, large protected area and a variety of marine life, including the largest giant clams I’ve ever seen. Delightful staff remember your name for free breakfast and arrange tours (inexpensive and wonderful – whatever you wish). I plan to return for another 3-day stay as soon as possible! Happy that most Filipinos are superstitious and don’t like spending the night – Siquijor was far cleaner – land and water – than Palawan where I live. Highly recommended.”

Location: Tubod, San Juan, Siquijor Island

What To Love: impeccable service, pool bar, and great location

Salamanka Beach and Dive Resort

Guest Review: “The restaurant is great. The hotel offers everything you can wish for. The quality is the best I have seen in the Philippines. It makes you just want to spend your day by the pool and order a few cocktails which are relatively cheap. But then you remember that there is a beautiful island waiting for you to be explored as well.”

Location: Buluhisan, Catulayan, San Juan, 6227 Siquijor

What To Love: pool bar, friendly staff, and an amazing swimming pool
