Siquijor is one of the best islands to visit in the Philippines. With its white sandy beaches, laidback vibe, friendly locals, marine sanctuaries, and Gatorade blue waterfalls, Siquijor is packed with epic things to do and stunning tourist spots to visit.
As of this writing, there’s no direct flight to Siquijor island. To visit, you’ll have to ride a plane to the nearest airport in Dumaguete. From here, you’ll ride a ferry from Dumaguete to Siquijor.

Things to Know
- Before boarding your ferry in Dumaguete or Siquijor, you will have to pay a terminal fee of ₱15.
- There’s a high chance that a trip gets canceled when the weather is bad, and the waves are strong.
- Unfortunately, you can only book Oceanjet online in advance. For the other shipping lines, you’ll need to get to the port early to book your ticket.
