What a $hit hole island. I’m in the most expensive resort. Rode the ferry from Jagna to here, that was pleasant.
Upon arrival, they AMBUSH you with some requirement to scan a QR code and fill out some BS “clean Camiguin”
Form. However, the code you scan to get to the form they want filled out does not work. Their wifi does not work. There is not “paper form” you can fill out. The hotel I have would not provide support or transport. (Nouveau Resort).
Had to take two trikes to get to the resort. Rough AF and of course, hot and Jammed.
Checkin was a cluster F, even though I have spent over $1700 for the 2 rooms. Rude behavior.
I spend 10+ months a year traveling Philippines, many different islands and resorts/hotels. Never have I felt so unwelcomed in my life.
Camiguin is a pure $hit show and $hit hole. I can’t leave soon enough.
Go to some other island. You will be very thankful and welcomed. .
