Mantigue Island, also known as Magsaysay Island, is located just off the coast of Mahinog, Camiguin. The island is only a short boat ride away from the mainland, making it easily accessible for travelers.

How to Get to Mantigue Island Camiguin

Mantigue Island is located just off the coast of Mahinog, Camiguin. The best way to get there is by boat, which can be easily arranged at the San Roque port.

The boat ride from Mahinog to Mantigue Island takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the island, you’ll be greeted by the stunning scenery that this paradise has to offer!


The boat ride costs P750 (good for 4 persons max) roundtrip. You’ll also need to pay a P75 entrance fee per person. You can only stay at the island for 3 hours maximum. If you want to extend your stay, you can pay an additional P100 per hour.

Tables are rented out for P150 while sheds are at P100.

The best time to visit Mantigue Island is during the dry season, which usually runs from January to May. This is when the weather is cool and sunny, making it perfect for exploring the island and enjoying all its outdoor activities.

No, there is no ATM on the island. The nearest one is in Mahinog. So make sure to withdraw cash before you go.
