Our Experience
Upon arriving at the airport, Ryk and I were picked up by a van and shuttled to the resort. Here, we got to try their famous floating breakfast in the pool, which was truly delightful.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating, offering us helpful tips on where to go and what to do during our stay. We also took advantage of their offers, like the underground river tour, romantic dinner, chess games, and more. The food they served was delicious too!
Floating Breakfast
The floating breakfast is one of the resort’s unique offerings. It is served daily, but you have to book at least one day in advance to give the staff time to prepare. You’ll also have to pick your food order in advance. Ryk chose the American breakfast, and I chose the tapsilog. Both were super yummy.
The floating breakfast was a memorable experience for us as it allowed us to enjoy our meal while basking in the sun as we drifted along the pool.
Underground River Tour
On our second day, we went on an underground river tour. Here, we met the only ventriloquist and magician tour guide in the world, Ernie Sarangaya. He only does tours for the resort with Kara Travel and Tours, so make sure to book a tour when you can. Our two-hour ride went by so fast, thanks to his jokes and magic tricks.
The underground river was also so mesmerizing, with its many limestone formations. It was truly a sight to behold! *Will update this with a link to our travel guide to the Underground River. Look forward to it! 😉
And at lunchtime, we got to try the famous woodworm “tamilok” and by “we”, I meant Ryk. According to him, the worm tasted like an oyster. It was surprisingly delicious.

Romantic Dinner
On our last day, we had a romantic dinner by the pool. We were served a four-course meal prepared by their in-house chef. It was such a special end to our vacation. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was just perfect. But of course, I especially loved the dessert coconut panna cotta. I highly recommend trying it!
Dining Experience
Tomato and Basil is the all-day dining restaurant of the resort. Here, you can find a mix of Italian dishes, from pasta to wood-fired baked pizza. Do not miss out on their delectable desserts, either. All the food we tried here was delicious.

This postcard-perfect resort features a variety of activities that will keep you entertained throughout your stay. Spend the day lounging at one of the many outdoor pools or take part in a host of water sports, such as kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. For a more relaxing experience, avail of their in-room massage.

The room is called a double pool because it has a spacious bathtub inside and direct access to a private pool outside. The water villa, on the other hand, is an over-water accommodation that’s best for couples who want a bedroom facing the ocean and an outdoor bathtub.
