Northern Pines Inn at a Glance
Northern Pines Inn is a recently opened Airbnb in Baguio. You can book the whole house for your staycation. It can accommodate up to 10 guests making it perfect for the whole family or barkada.
The Airbnb is in a well-gated and well-guarded community. It’s also just beside the road so you won’t have a hard time finding it.
Location

It is located in Tam-awan Road which is only 3 minutes away from Igorot Stone Kingdom, Tam-awan village, Farmer’s Daughter, and Camp Folkswagen.
And within a 10-15 minute drive, you have Lourdes Grotto, Mirador Park, Bencab museum, La Trinidad Strawberry Farm, SM Baguio, and the iconic Burnham Park.
Aside from being close to most of Baguio’s tourist spots, it’s also close to a wet market and a laundry shop. So in case you want to cook in the Airbnb, fresh ingredients are only a minute away.

If you want to complete your relaxing stay, Flora’s spa is only a few steps away.
Amenities

Step inside and be greeted by a cozy and homey interior, adorned with a green and white aesthetic that truly captures the essence of Baguio.

Imagine curling up next to this warm fireplace, a book in hand, as you sink into the plush chair nearby.

Gather around this spacious dining table, and yes, that’s a 43-inch TV equipped with Netflix for those binge-watching sessions.

For the chefs at heart, a fully equipped kitchen awaits.

Step outside to the alfresco area, the perfect spot to watch the sun set or get lost in the mesmerizing Baguio fog.

Refresh and rejuvenate in one of the two bathrooms, and yes, one even has a bathtub.
With four bedrooms and an extra sofa bed, rest assured, there’s space for everyone.

And don’t forget to check out the roof deck! It’s a great spot to get a view of the surrounding mountains, sunset, and the city skyline at night.

When the weather is nice and sunny, you can see the Lingayen Gulf and Aringay river. Aaaaand if you’re super lucky, you’ll get a view of a sea of clouds during sunset!
What to Expect
Accommodating Hosts
The house is easy to find. The host, Ms. Xiutin will provide you with all the information needed to get to the Airbnb.
The host’s family, especially their mom, is super friendly and accommodating. Let them know if you have any questions or if you need anything.
Wifi & Mobile Network Signal
WiFi is pretty fast (hello, fellow digital nomads!)
Mobile network signal is strong for Globe but very weak for Smart users. You’ll need to go outside or near the windows to get a strong signal.
Parking Spot
If you’re planning to bring your car, the Airbnb can accommodate up to 2 cars in the parking area.
And if you want to visit the nearby tourist spots, I’d recommend you walk to Igorot Stone Kingdom, Tam-awan village, Farmer’s Daughter, and Camp Folkswagen instead of driving your car. These attractions don’t have enough parking space and the roads are narrow so you might get stuck in traffic (especially during the holiday season) or worse, not find any parking space.
Commute
If you’re planning to commute, the Airbnb is near the jeepney terminal in Tam-awan so you won’t have a hard time getting to the city center. Just make sure not to go out during rush hours.
Sunset
One of the Airbnb’s highlights is its front seat view of the sunset. Unfortunately, during our stay, we didn’t get to see the legendary sunset because of the rain.
However, we’ve passed Tam-awan road several times in the past years when we were living in Baguio and it is indeed one of the best spots to watch the sunset.
But don’t worry, if not the sunset, you’ll be treated with a foggy experience. Brew a cup of coffee and sit by the balcony while you watch the fog pass!
