Why South Drive Baguio Manor?

Well, let me tell you why!

Home Away From Home

South Drive Baguio Manor is famous for its homey and cozy atmosphere. After all, it’s a big house renovated into a hotel.

Upon entering, the first thing you’ll notice is the big fireplace and yes, it’s fully functioning! You can ask the staff to light it up for you in the evenings.

It’s rare to find accommodations with a fireplace so Ryk and I were pretty much looking forward to the evening. And it didn’t disappoint.

Aside from the fireplace, there are several sungka boards perfect if you want to chill and play.

Location

If you want to be away from the city noise and pollution, you’ll love South Drive Manor’s location. It’s not that far from the city’s business district but it’s surrounded by pine trees and in a quiet neighborhood.

It’s only a few minutes away from Teacher’s Camp, SM, Wright Park, the Mansion, and Camp John Hay. You can even walk from and to each of the places mentioned. In fact, the South Drive road is one of the best places to jog in Baguio.

In-House Restaurant

South Drive Manor also has an in-house restaurant called the Chevon Pitstop. Their specialty is kambing. It’s highly recommended!

Their breakfast meals are also super yummy. I had tapa and it was delicious!

Foodie Tip! The well-known Secret Garden is just beside the hotel – one of my go-to restaurants for seafood pasta and pizza!
