Sometimes, you just want to find a good place to stay in Manila – a place that will provide you with a great staycation, a wonderful view of the city and a pool to swim your worries away. Who said you have to go far away to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city? You’ll be surprised at how many places in Manila you can get a great staycation from. One of these is the BSA Twin Towers.
Ever heard of it? Have you seen it? You’ve probably seen it a couple of times during one of your car rides home.
BSA Twin Towers
You can either opt for a walk in or book online to reserve a room. They have several rooms to accommodate 2 persons up to a whole barkada.
The rooms are all airconditioned, with a hot and cold shower (that’s what I’m talking about!), a hairdryer (yup!), free WiFi (yes!), and a great view of the city below.
We had the pleasure of staying on the 45th floor, and the views were a-mazing! Our room had floor to ceiling mirrors, a big wardrobe, a refrigerator (with free bottled waters), and a kitchen to boot. Woohooo! Needless to say, I had tons of fun, especially in the bathroom. I’ve never bathed so many times in one day. Har har. The only thing missing was a big tub, and I’d book the place all over again when I get the chance to.
What makes a great staycation?
An awesome place to stay in.
If you’re like me and you love swimming in the water (even if you don’t know how to swim), then brace yourself cause BSA Twin Towers has great stuff for you.
BSA Twin Towers boasts of a children’s playground, a wave pool, jacuzzis, a lagoon, and a gym. All hotel guests have free access to these babies.
Look at the photos we took, and you might just want to have a go at it too.

Don’t worry about the food. As great as the hotel is, they offer breakfast buffets in the morning for 400 pesos per person. We tried this, and we were provided with a wide selection of salads, tapa, pancakes, longanisa, bread, lots of bread jams, soup, eggs, and juice (in pineapple and four-season flavors).
Plus, there’s a toaster for your loaf bread. I took my time in choosing what food to eat but in the end, opted to get a bite of each. (Gotta make the most of that 400 pesos ya’ll).
The Best Part?
A great hotel location provides you a big reason to book a place. What I loved the most about the BSA Twin Towers was how near the supermall was – SM Megamall to be exact. It’s literally just across the street. And what better way to spend your staycation than end it with a bang? Something that will leave you wanting for more.
Almost two hours before our check out time, we thought of going to the mall to do what? Nothing in particular. We just wanted to walk and do some window shopping. However, our tummies had another plan. We passed by Dad’s World Buffet and decided to eat there and then.
We were supposed to check out at 12:00 noon and the buffet place only opens at 11:00 am. This means that we had around 45 minutes to eat whatever we want. And so our mission began, and we took off to eat a piece of EVERYTHING!
Just look at all the food! I didn’t know how I managed to eat a lot, but I did. Nyahahahaha.
